Alameda Point Antiques
by admin on February 24, 2012
I’ve been a regular to the world-famous, Porte de Clignancourt (Les Puces de Paris) for over 20 years but seem to miss our local Alameda Point Antiques fair which is presented the 1st Sunday of every month. So here are pics from my inaugural trip to the event. It draws over 800 dealers and thousands of customers to it.
Great wheel barrel chaise upholstered with antique burlap.
I arrived at 7:30am– the perfect time, and was out by 10:30am when the masses really rolled in and the lines to get in were seriously long. My goal was to find a gift for a client’s French style home— end tables for the living room and possibly a coffee table…
Fuel for shopping and lugging around your loot:
And after all that, this is the only loot I managed to take home with me:
I picked out one of these antique capitals for my client. It weighed a ton!
This vintage jacket was a real find. I can’t wait to go back— don’t forget to bring your cart with wheels!!
